Happy Pig Day

Tuesday was National Pig Day so we had a pig party.  We did our pig finger play about 2 momma pigs lived in a pen, each had 4 children and that makes 10!

We read Churchill’s Tale of Tails by Anca Sandu:

churchill's tale of tails

And learned all about tails and the the special nature of the pig’s tail.  Next we made our pig hats:

and headed over to the barn to see our girl Streaker.

She did a few tricks for us, so we gave her some treats.

We had a ball, didn’t we Streaker?  Happy pig day!
