Gone Quackers!

It was International Duck Day and Toddler Tuesday was all about ducks.  We sang and read 5 litte ducks, we made a splash with our banjo and shaker jam session singing “ducks like rain”. Ducks do like rain because all that rain and banjo music called in our visitor…our little Domino duck.  We read the Clumsy Duck by Betta Teckentrup and learned why duck’s feet are so big:

Finally, we turned ourselves into ducks and if you were there, some of us were even clumsy ducks 🙂

I am a naturalist on the education staff here at Oatland Island Wildlife Center. I earned a B.S. in Terrestrial Ecology with a minor in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont. I recently received my MPH in Environmental Health from the University of Arizona.
