One Smart Goose!

Honk if you are a silly goose!  We learned all about geese on this Toddler Tuesday.  We even recited several of mother goose’s nursery rhymes.  We studied the diversity of geese in the world, but none are as sweet as our little Rosie. Rosie came to class and sat with us through story time.  We read One Smart Goose by Caroline Church to her.

It is a cute little story about a little, dirty, white goose who uses camouflage to her advantage to escape fox mischief. Once everyone catches on to her dealings with dirt, she is the only one who cleans up in time for a snow storm and escapes yet another night of fox mischief.  Like our Rosie, she is one smart goose!

We ended the program with our very own, homemade paper towel roll goose:

(okay maybe some look like ducks, but don’t tell a goose that!)
