Catching up on the last month of fun…


ImageWell, time flies and Toddler Tuesday’s come and go.  So much fun has happened here at Oatland Island during the last month.  I haven’t had time to keep up with my blog about each class, so I will post a series of pictures summarizing April’s Toddler Tuesday themes and happenings.


Easter Bunnies came to Oatland:

We studied bobcats and had a shadow puppet show about how the bobcats got their tails.  Later we made our own bobcat shadow puppets:

Insects are amazing.  check out the diversity of beetles that made it to TT.  We learned what Elytra are–pictures coming soon…

I am a naturalist on the education staff here at Oatland Island Wildlife Center. I earned a B.S. in Terrestrial Ecology with a minor in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont. I recently received my MPH in Environmental Health from the University of Arizona.
