Turtle-riffic Toddler Tuesday


What has a carapace and a plastron and lives in every type of biome?  Turtles!  We studied turtles a few weeks ago.  The sign for turtle is one of my favorite.  We sang a few turtle songs, did some role playing:


Read a turtle tale or two, had some Chelonian visitors:


and then turned paper bowls into pet turtles:

It was a Turtle-rific Toddler Tuesday!
