Xin Nian Hao–Year of the Caprinaes

It is the Chinese year of the sheep, or goat (depending on what country you are in)…either way they are both in the subfamily Caprinae and genera Capra.  Whichever you prefer, it gave us a good excuse to celebrate some of our favorite farm animals.  This was an excitement-filled Toddler program.  We had a count down to the new year, experienced a little bit of indoor fire crackers and read Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas by Natasha Yim.

We finished the program with constructing our New Year dragons and lanterns to celebrate this  new year of the sheep…or goat–Caprinae!.
