Winter Residents

This class was dedicated to the little winter birds that hang out at our feeders.

We played a game on my ipad to help with identification:

and then we went out and looked for them after learning how to use binoculars.

At the end of class we made toilet paper roll bird feeder ornaments!  We painted corn syrup on the rolls, rolled them in bird seeder and used cheerios to decorate in between.  Wa la:  home made bird feeders to attract our winter residents!
