Animal Hide and Seek

It was animal hide and seek day.  I found some great camouflage photos for the students to seek out the animal…see if you can find:

The animal kingdom sure has figured out nature’s battle dress uniform.

We read the story by Leo Lionni called A Color of His Own about how the chameleon wants so badly to have his own color like other animals but he solves his problem with the help of a friend.

We finished our study of camouflage with a chameleon puppet inspired by one of nature’s best hide and seekers.
