I’m the Biggest Thing in the Ocean!

We had a fun day today learning about mollusks: snails, clams and squid.  We talked about clam like and snail like animals.  We sorted through a beach in a box and discovered moon snails, baby ears, augers, lettered olives, whelks, jingle and cockle shells.

At the end we read the cutest story about a bragging squid with a big ego: biggest thing in the ocean
