Rabbit Revelry!

Standard

What a day studying rabbits!  Just in time for the Easter Bunny.   Our very own Peter Rabbit seems to always have great adventures here at Oatland Island.  Check him out with his new friends.

Bunny Love

We had so much bunny love at this last Toddler Tuesday.  Peter rabbit sat in his basket, hopped out, visited everyone; and then hopped back in his basket.  He was adorable.

We learned what rabbits like to eat; we explored their fur, their feet,  their noses, ears and fluffy tails.  The best lesson came from  Little Bunny Foo Foo.  That funny bunny taught us  how important it is to touch animals gently ( I modified the song a little bit to emphasize the gentle touching).

We read The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit by Emma Thompson the actress. A very cute story–I highly recommend it.

Our craft today started with a sharp, prickly pine cone and turned into a soft, fluffy bunny.  Check out some of their creations:
