Stop and smell the flowers…then camp there.

Standard

Time to catch up on the fun-filled Toddler Tuesday classes these past few weeks.

Two weeks ago we learned all about flowers.  I surveyed the kids and asked them if they like flowers and they all agreed… well, except little Ansley who didn’t like them… she “loved” them.  Isn’t that fabulous?  Something that all we humans agree on..flowers are lovely!  We made our flower meadow crowns at the end of class and the kids had some fun folding paper flowers:

and check out her flower meadow crown.

The next week after learning about flowers and their enchantment; we went camping in that pretend enchanted forest!  Hooray, camping season is upon us. We went pretend camping.  During our imaginary play we covered all the camping activities–hiking, singing songs around a campfire, story telling, eating s’mores and playing in our big tent.  Check out the tent play.  One little guy wants you to make sure you don’t go out on the trails without your compass!

Don’t know if you can tell but that is a  marshmallow in the little guys hand.

I sure do love Toddler Tuesday!  You are never too young (or old) for imaginary play.
