Rabbit Rendez-vous

Standard

We figured y’all had rabbits on the brain this time of year; so we did rabbits for Toddler Tuesday in a BIG way.
We had a hopping good time with Ms. Shirley rabbit and Peter rabbit. Peter still hadn’t found his blue jacket, but he was safe and sound in Ms. Shirley Rabbit’s cozy little basket, stuffed with hay.

We sang Peter Rabbit has a Fly on His Nose; I read a sweet story called “I Love My StoryBook” by Anita Jeram; I-Love-My-Little-Storybook-9780763648060

At the end of class we made our own little fuzzy bunnies from pine cones stuffed with cotton balls.

Heads up out there; next week (April 2nd) theme is the Salamander Ball and the week of April 9th there will be no Toddler Tuesday so Ms. Michelle can prepare for our annual Fairy Gnome Festival. The festival will be Saturday, April 13th, 2013 from 10-2pm. It is a child-centered day with crafts; games; storytelling; and heavenly exhibits. You won’t want to miss it. Save the date: April 13, 2013 from 10am-2pm. All proceeds from the event help care for the Oatland animals.
