Petunia Opossum Party

Standard

Oatland Camera 339

You wouldn’t think that an opossum would become shy when a group of toddlers sing happy birthday to it; but, that is exactly how Petunia responded. She buried her head into Director Heather Merbs’ arms as if she was embarassed. It was a fun party learning about Opossums and celebrating our little Petunia’s 2nd birthday. We played pin the tail on the opossum, told a story about how the Opossum got his tail; and then celebrated with Petunia’s favorite treat, banana pudding cake. It wasn’t really cake, just 2 vanilla wafers, sandwiching a half a teaspoon of banana pudding, topped with a banana slice. Yummy!
