Turtle Tuesday was Tremendous

Standard

Wow. We did it folks. We packed the room. I have been waiting for this moment since August and finally it has come. What fun!

After a song, the tortoise yoga pose, finger play and general frivolity we examined hexagons and looked at patterns on turtle shells.

We visited with Charley the box turtle, and Ezmerelda the gopher tortoise and learned a little bit about their habits. It was a fun class. The room was packed, but our friendships grew.

Next week’s Toddler Tuesday’s theme is Right Whales. The Right Whales are back in Georgia having their offspring, so I figured we should learn about them.

If we have a crowd like this past Tuesday I am going to offer two times the following week; and, will make that announcement in class. Regardless, there will be plenty of room next week because we will be either outside, or on the side porch; as we size up our whale friends. Hope y’all come back! You don’t want to miss this next class, because a right whale is coming to Oatland Island. Shylah, the whale is on his way. Hope to see you all here!
