Gingerbread man party

We had a sweet time this past Tuesday with a puppet show, gingerbread men cookies with milk, and handmade salt dough ornaments.  The kids had a busy time rolling out salt dough making salt ornaments from cookie cutters.   I can’t think of a better craft for children than playing with cookie dough.  It was a mess, but a good party alway is.

Don’t forget to make it this Tuesday, December 18th for our Polar Xpress Party.  We’ll have a mixture of Arctic decor and trains.  I have been busy making an igloo out of recycled milk jugs.

Next week we will  finish painting our salt dough ornaments.  Don’t worry if you missed the ornament making part last week; we’ll have some for your child to decorate.  Just come!  It is the last Toddler Tuesday of the year.

Don’t forget, we will not be having TT for 2 weeks in a row and will reconvene on January 8th!

Below is a link with the recipes for the  salt dough and the vegan gingerbread cookies that we had on December 11th.
